1957 - Glenorchy became known as the Magpies.
1974 - Glenorchy wore black and white colours.
1981-2000 - Glenorchy were known as the Magpies, and wore Collingwood colours.
2001 - Glenorchy changed to guernseys of green, with white and black feathers, and became known as the Storm.

1898 - One source states that the Glenorchy FC was established around about this time, though this conflicts with other statements. The source also claims that Glenorchy participated in the senior competition this year.
1919 - The Glenorchy Football Club was established.
1935 - Glenorchy were premiers, league unknown.

1957 (Tasmanian ANFL) :
Glenorchy Football Club merged with New Town FC, forming the new Glenorchy District FC.
