Guernseys & Nicknames :
1889 - Gawler South were known as the Tri-Colours and wore a red 7 blue guernsey with white vee or white bands.
1890 - Gawler South adopted royal blue and white hoops.
1890s - Gawler South were known as the Barbarians.
1904 - Gawler South became known as the Blues at approximately this time.
1955 - Gawler South wore royal blue and white hoops, and were known as the Lions. The club adopted the Rampant Lion as its emblem.
1956-2005 - Gawler South wore royal blue and white hoops, and were known as the Lions.

Grounds :
1910ish - South Gawler meetings were held in the Vinegar Works, a cellar at the bottom of the hill near the Butter Factory.
???? - South Gawler meetings were held in the rear of Laycock's Victoria Mill store room, and later to the Fodder Mill near the Gawler Railway Station.
1912 - South Gawler established clubrooms at the southern end of High Street.
1914 - South Gawler moved to the Grain and Chaff Mill just before where the Adelaide Road bridge enters Murray Street.
1915 - South Gawler moved to news clubrooms Jeff's Mill at the Gawler Railway Station, and trained at Wilcox's Paddock in Gawler West.
1919 - South Gawler moved clubrooms to the May Brothers Foundry.
1923 - Souht Gawler moved to 'the tin shed on the riverbank', in Fourteenth Street, Gawler West.
1976 - South Gawler moved from the 'tin shed at Fourteenth Street' to the Evanston Sports Centre at Eldred Riggs Reserve.
