1875-1920 - Winchelsea wore Geelong-style guernseys.
1925 - Winchelsea had two teams in 1925, one wearing black and white vertical stripes, the other maroon guernseys.
1926 - Upon the two teams again becoming one, Winchelsea adopted maroon guernseys.
1937-82 - Winchelsea adopted Carlton colours.
1983 - Winchelsea's football team became known as the Blues, giving rise to the term 'Winny Blues'.
