Traralgon-Tyers United Football Club (Vic)

This club was put together for the purpose of creating an alternative team out of Traralgon, even though the club itself is actually based at Tyers.

Guernseys & Nicknames :
TTU were/are known as the Bombers.

Timeline :
1981 - TTU were formed.
1982ish - TTU left the North Gippsland FL to join the Latrobe Valley FL.
1983 - Latrobe Valley FL : TTU commenced.
1983-86 - Latrobe Valley FL : TTU participated.
1986 - Latrobe Valley FL : TTU's final season in this league.
1988-89 - North Gippsland FL : TTU participated.
1990 - North Gippsland FL Grand Final : TTU defeated Heyfield for their first flag.
1991 - North Gippsland FL : TTU participated.
1992 - North Gippsland FL : TTU were not premiers.
1993 - North Gippsland FL : TTU participated.
1994 - North Gippsland FL : TTU finished 3rd.

1995 (North Gippsland FL) :
TTU were 3rd after H&As.
Qualifying Final - Gormandale 17.22.124 defeated TTU 11.10.76.
First Semi-Final - Churchill 22.18.150 defeated TTU 11.16.82.

1997 - North Gippsland FL Grand Final : Heyfield 19.8.122 defeated TTU 6.14.50.
1999 - North Gippsland FL : TTU participated.

2000 (North Gippsland FL) :
TTU were battling to make the four by around June.
Even before the end of this season, TTU were approached to join the GLVFL to boost club numbers from 7 to 8. After some passionate debate, they decided to stay put.

2001 (North Gippsland FL) :
Elimination Final - TTU 13.15.93 defeated Gormandale 12.6.78.
First Semi-Final - TTU 14.5.89 defeated Heyfield 6.9.45.
Preliminary Final - Churchill 17.10.112 defeated TTU 8.12.60.

2002 (North Gippsland FL) :
Qualifying Final - Traralgon-Tyers United 14.12.96 defeated Heyfield 13.7.85.
Second Semi-Final - Traralgon-Tyers United 15.14.104 defeated Churchill 13.8.86.
Grand Final - Churchill 15.9.99 defeated Traralgon-Tyers United 5.3.33.

2003 - North Gippsland FL : TTU participated.
2004 - North Gippsland FL Grand Final : TTU 17.8.110 defeated Heyfield 6.8.44.
2005 - North Gippsland FL : TTU participated.
