Whittlesea changed name to Northern Eagles FC.
Northern Eagles commenced in the Riddell DFL.

1988 - Riddell DFL Division 2 Grand Final : Northern Eagles 16.12.108 defeated Woodend-Hesket 7.12.54.
1989-91 - Riddell DFL Division 1 : Northern Eagles participated.
1992 - Diamond Valley FL : Whittlesea commenced.
