1934 - The Ballarat-Wimmera FL was more or less merger of the Ballarat FL and the Wimmera DFL.

1937 :
The Ballarat-Wimmera FL split back into Ballarat and Wimmera contingents, reforming the Ballarat FL and forming the Wimmera FL with the inclusion of the Mid-Wimmera FL clubs.

The Ballarat FL absorbed the Ballarat & DFA.

The more recent Ballarat FL commenced this year under the name of the Ballarat FA.
