Who Is Footypedia?

The Footypedia website is compiled by myself, Kev Court, from information gained through publications, newspapers and submissions from people who contact me.

I am a Fitzroy (and now Fitzroy) fan, based in Brisbane, hailing originally from a small Wimmera (Victoria, Australia) town called Marnoo. My football history is bleak, playing no junior footy. I played for a season in 1991 at Cheltenham (Melbourne), where my short stints off the bench in the reserves for the entire year would probably total the equivalent of about 1 match. My late Dad was a bit classier, though, skippering the 'Noo to a flag in the 1950s and apparently being quite noted as a player.

My Fitzroy (1989-96), Coburg-Fitzroy (1999-2000) and Fitzroy Reds (2001-2005) attending days saw me produce approximately 70 newsletters and coin approximately 110 songs for the various Roy entities.

Footypedia is not an official football institution. Its just the name I gave to this site, for purposes of publishing football history.

The site is compiled utterly in html using notepad, with some javascript used for a header incorporating the top titles and menu system. Yes, I know there's better ways. I'm old and stupid, shut up.
