This league operates around Alice Springs.
The T Richardson Shield was a prize given to those who won the 3 day sports festival which followed the standard football season. The season itself seemed not to procure a premier or champion, and so the Shield was the equivalent of the football premiership.

The competition was ordered into the Centralian Country FL, which lasted just this, one, year.

 5. Areyonga.
Yuendumu won the T Richardson Shield (play-off, rather than premiership, also seems to have separate to the new league).

1965 :
The Centralian Country FL idea was abandoned.
