General :
Amoonguna is a settlement located 9km outside (east?) of Alice Springs.

Guernseys & Nicknames :
1962 - Amoonguna wore blue and gold guernseys.
1967 - Amoonguna were known as the Eagles.
1969 - By this time, Amoonguna's colours had changed to blue and white.
1971 - Souths were known as the Roos, and wore guernseys of blue and white vertical stripes.
2002 - Souths were known as the Roos or as the SuperRoos.

Timeline :
1962 - Central AFL : Amoonguna commenced.
1963-65 - Central AFL : Amoonguna participated.
1966 - Central AFL Grand Final Pioneers 16.12.108 defeated Amoonguna 4.6.30.
1967-68 - Central AFL : Amoonguna participated.
1969 - Central AFL Grand Final : Pioneers 14.20.104 defeated Amoonguna 8.3.51.
1970 - Central AFL : Amoonguna participated.
1971 - Amoonguna changed name to Souths.
1972 - Central AFL : A new Amoonguna competed, failed to win a game, and withdrew after this season.
