Timeline :
2001 - The Sugadaira Cup began.
2003 - The Sugadaira Cup was renamed as the Narita Cup due to a change of venue.^[source]

2004 (Narita Cup) :
Participating clubs were (complete, in final ladder order) :
 1. Tokyo Samurais (premiers),
 2. Singapore,
 3. Jakarta Bintangs and
 4. Tokyo Goannas.

2009 - The Narita Cup evolved into the Japan Cup.^[source]
